• Nominations for the inaugural IyV Award will open on Monday 20th March 2023
• Nominations will close on Monday 10th April 2023
• Shortlisting and Judging will take place the week commencing 10th April
• The Awards Presentation will take place at the Women’s Symposium on 13th May, Saturday at Pearl Hotel, Kuala Lumpur from 9 am till 5 pm

The Award is a prestigious award celebrating the outstanding achievements of women from multi-disciplinary areas. The purpose of this Award is to raise awareness, recognise and honour the hard work and valuable contribution of women of all cultures, communities, races, and beliefs, who have made significant contributions in one or more of the following areas

Lifetime Service: Recognizes a woman who has demonstrated superior leadership and success over several years. Nominee should have a track record of long-term achievements, community involvement and professional growth and also known for her positive influence and competent abilities.
 
Inspirational: Recognizes a woman who inspires others through her work, ideas and example. The recipient will demonstrate an unwavering passion and commitment for a particular cause or idea. She is a role model who is making a difference in the lives of others.
 
Leadership: Recognizes a woman who is a bold, well-known leader who others choose to emulate. The recipient will have a proven record of growth, success and influence in her profession or community. 

Game Changer: Recognizes a woman who has made significant contributions in her field or community that has led to inspiring change and/or innovation. The recipient will be someone who is comfortable breaking the mold. She will have been the impetus for a new idea or thought process that positively influenced her profession or community.

Please note the following rules when making your nominations:

1. Individuals may be nominated by someone else or may nominate themselves.
2. All entries will be treated confidentially.
3. Supporting information must be provided for each nomination.
4. Nominees, shortlisted candidates, and winners must consent to press and media coverage
5. Nominees must also not have been recognized previously with a similar award as we would like to identify “Unsung Heroines”
6. Nominees must not have any pending or ongoing legal proceedings that will bring the Award into disrepute.
7. Nominees for the Awards must be available to attend the Women’s Symposium to take place on 13th May, Saturday at Pearl Hotel, Kuala Lumpur from 9 am till 5 pm
8. Nominees for the Award must also register and pay to attend the respective presentation. Further information on these events will be provided as soon as available and both Nominee and Nominator informed.
9. Nominations from sponsors or employees of sponsoring organisations will not be accepted during the period of their individual and/or organisational sponsorship. This is to maintain the integrity of the awards.

11. Strict compliance with word count must be maintained in the nomination form, although there is the facility to upload additional documentation and provide URL links to further information.
12. All nominees must be aged 18 or over on the date of their nomination.
13. All nominees must be female
14. You must be registered for the symposium to nominate.
15. Winners will be announced at the Women’s Symposium on 13th May, Saturday at Pearl Hotel, Kuala Lumpur from 9 am till 5 pm
